Bet you haven't seen this way of putting laces in your shoes yet? The " Diamond " method.
You can use this with any type of lace and will therefore be a super beautiful eye-catcher.
Before we start with this way of threading , it should be said that you have to take it easy to do it right. Why you should take it easy? Very simple... it's quite easy to make a mistake with this threading technique. To ensure that everything goes according to plan, we have made a very nice step -by-step plan that is quite extensive and to make it even clearer, we have used certain icons, so that you can keep the necessary overview.
Let's take a quick look at how to lace the laces to get the "Diamond" in the shoes correctly.
Step 1
Place the shoe in front of you with the toe pointing towards you and pull the lace out from the inside so that the lace buckle is centered on the inside.
Then pull the left lace diagonally across and pull it through the eyelet, pull it back immediately above the hole as shown below.
Step 2
The place where you see the orange circle is the place where you last pulled back the eyelet. You pull this lace diagonally opposite into the bottom eyelet and pull it back in the same way immediately above the hole.
Step 3
Repeat this process and you will see that the laces will be neatly slanted to one side like the pattern in the picture below.
Step 4
From now on it will be a lot more spicy and I would like to ask you to keep your full concentration and focus. You no longer need the left side of the lace, you used it for the right side of the shoe. Now you continue the steps with the right side of the lace and you will notice that you have to take exactly the same steps as you had to do with the first 3 steps. Take the right side of the lace and bring it to the other side just like in step 1 and pull the lace through the eyelet that already has another lace in it. Then pull the lace back directly above the lace eye.
Step 5
Bring the lace diagonally opposite into the bottom eyelet that does not yet have a lace in it. Immediately pull the lace back above the eyelet, just like you did in Step 2, only this time with another lace getting in the way.
Step 6
Bring the lace diagonally opposite into the bottom eyelet that does not yet have a lace in it. Immediately pull the lace back above the eyelet, just like you did in Step 2, only now with another lace in the way.
Step 7
Take the lace out from the inside and put it back in diagonally opposite the bottom.
Step 8
Take the lace out from the inside. Now only one lace eye remains open.
Step 9
Finally, you guessed it... pull the lace through the last eye and you're ready to shine!*does a dance and sings "Shine bright like a diamond"*
